Self Defense - Emergency Evacuation

Evacuation procedures may be followed before or after or during the disaster. These emergency evacuations are classified as Small scale evacuations and Large Scale evacuations.

Small Scale Evacuations:

These evacuations were restricted to a small area where much of the equipment is not required. In case of structural failure of buildings, where the building is about to collapse, people were evacuated using alarms or exit signs. Here not much of labour work is required.
